Joe and Pat … we are truly saddened at Mack's passing. Both our families had a long history of doing stuff together and we still carry great memories from those times. This is not good bye brother and old friend, but rather it is temporary; Mack is watching over you all and will be waiting at the gates – we will meet again. In Christ's love and \lm/ Frank and Susan Crouch and family

1 Thess 4: 13-18 -- The Hope of the Resurrection
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.

My heart goes out to the Wilson's family during this difficult time. Mack was a great man and a wonderful father to Fara and Sarah. I remember when I was growing up with Fara and Sarah that I looked up to Mack and wished that he was my dad too. Mack had strong values and unswerving belief. He was a down-to-earth type of person, so humble and so easy to talk to. He had this incredible ability to make people relax and open up to him. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
Nina, Fara, Sarah and their families will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." Psalm 23 KJV

To the Mack Wilson family: I cannot find the words to express my sympathy and shock upon learning of Mack's passing - Mack was the NBAD secretary for four years while I served as President - Mack was a tireless crusader and a firm believer in the continuation of NBAD. It was my privilege to know Mack and to work with him - he will be missed by many of us - his departure leaves a void in our hearts but, however, knowing he is in a far better place . . . Mack may be gone now but never far from our memories of him and in our hearts. Rest in peace, Mack. -Wayne C. Mnich

Our sympathies to you all, especially Nina. Few words about him are very big impact to us all.
He is the "ROCK". He won't let the any deaf clubs fall, because he build the rocks underneath the foundations. He actually carry the clubs on his back and refused to fall. He was the strength in us and we must not forgot. Just like Jesus carry the cross. He would tell a great inspirated stories, that you would attatched him thru God. Just like Jesus talks with people. It's a magic!! Thank you, Mack for being there.

My heart and prayers goes out to Nina and the entire Wilson family. Mack is truly an inspiration to be around as well to have conversation with. After witnessing him recently for the first time at the Sam Rayburn Tournament in Texas, he shall always be known as a leader and how he can LEAD us into becoming a solidify bass angler by understanding its ethics. I am positively sure he is called to the pearly gate to be welcomed unto the team of past NBAD bass anglers. Mack, thank you for this privilege to get to know you and you are now in God's hand where he shall guide you, lead you and welcome you to his home.

Nina and the Wilson family – You have our deepest sympathy for your loss…

Our last meeting, was not a goodbye; rather, “See you later, buddy…” –

Today, we are saddened for the loss of a dear friend, Mack, who had heartened and gained many friends over the years while imparting his wisdom for support to the Deaf community locally and nationally. Our family has always cherished and respected your family – the Wilsons.

Mack, in a sense, is not gone for that he left a part of himself in our memories that are unique to us in many different ways. In a moment of reflection, we know that he loved his family – Nina, his children, and grandchildren. We will miss him dearly. He rests in peace today and forevermore.

“See you later, buddy… We will carry on…”

Sincerely yours,

MICHAEL LEWIS
