He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Antonina Wilson of St. Louis; daughter, Fara Harper and her husband John Harper and their children Zara, J3 and Jez, of Illinois; daughter, Sarah Wilson and her fiancé Luke Zurkamer and their child Zea Zurkamer of Illinois; 12 out of his 14 siblings: Bill Marvin Wilson (and Edna), Charles Wilson (and Karen), Margaret Varner (and Jim), Joe Wilson (and Patricia), Don Wilson (and Kathy), Bonnie Dickman (and Danny), Woodrow Wilson (and Rhonda), Mary Wilson, Wanda Patterson (and Jon), Tommy Wilson (and Robin), Judy Boswell (and Mark) and Laura McCloskey (and Bob).
He was preceded in death by:His parents, Charles Elmer Wilson and Susie A. Wilson (Mae); His sister, Virginia Alice Blackmore and her husband, Don.
A memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, The service will be from 2-5 pm (visitation from 2-4 p.m, . The memorial service will be led by Pastor Randy Dignan starting at 4 p.m.).
There will be a social gathering at 6 pm at the Greater St. Louis Association for the Deaf (GSLAD) Hall at 2190 Creve Coeur Rd., Maryland Heights, MO 63043. There will be a potluck dinner and for those who are interested in bringing a covered dish, please contact Patricia Wilson at [email protected] or VP: 314-222-0103.

Although we did not know Mack very well. It was easy to see he was a very dedicated father/grandfather. He adored his family. My heart goes out to the Wilson's family during this difficult time. Mack was a great man and a wonderful father to Fara and Sarah. I remember when I was growing up with Fara and Sarah that I looked up to Mack and wished that he was my dad too. Mack had strong values and unswerving belief. He was a down-to-earth type of person, so humble and so easy to talk to. He had this incredible ability to make people relax and open up to him. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

To the Mack Wilson family: I cannot find the words to express my sympathy and shock upon learning of Mack's passing - Mack was the NBAD secretary for four years while I served as President - Mack was a tireless crusader and a firm believer in the continuation of NBAD. He is the "ROCK". He won't let the any deaf clubs fall, because he build the rocks underneath the foundations. He actually carry the clubs on his back and refused to fall. Today, we are saddened for the loss of a dear friend, Mack, who had heartened and gained many friends over the years while imparting his wisdom for support to the Deaf community locally and nationally. Our family has always cherished and respected your family – the Wilsons.
