Madeline "Maddy" Scheman Eisenberg, born on March 25, 1923, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on August 19, 2011, in Charlottesville, Virginia, at the age of 88. Maddy was a vibrant and spirited woman who fully embraced life with her diverse interests and active community involvement.

Maddy's passion for the arts was evident in her love for reading, singing, dancing, and whistling. She had an enthusiastic interest in fashion, always keeping up with the latest trends in clothing, makeup, and jewelry. Her home was a testament to her pride and joy, always meticulously cared for both inside and out.

In addition to her personal hobbies, Maddy was an active participant in a variety of social activities. She was a skilled Canasta player, a dedicated member of her local coral group, and a committed participant in numerous women's organizations. These activities not only brought joy to Maddy but also allowed her to form lasting friendships and contribute significantly to her community.

Maddy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sarah Benjamin Scheman, as well as her sisters, Blossom Scheman Hill and Elaine Scheman Rundbaken. She is predeceased by her husband Albert .She leaves behind a loving family, including her only child, Althea Tina Scheman-Moje (Carl), granddaughters Shannon J. Asnis Ariaudo (Joseph) and Robin L. Asnis Gray Pritchard (Roy), and great-grandsons Domenic and Stephen Ariaudo.

Maddy's legacy is cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful mosaic of love, laughter, and service, which will be remembered and celebrated by all.
