Madeline Epperson KINGSPORT, Tenn. Madeline Epperson, 75, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Epperson; and two sisters, Shirley Bryant of Corbin, Ky., and Mildred Puckett of Somerset, Ky. Survivors include her mother, Viola Kiser of Cleveland, Va.; children, Gary and Carol Epperson of Yuma, Va., Kenneth Epperson of Kingsport, Clifford and Patricia Epperson and Terry and Lori Epperson, all of Church Hill, Tenn.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Gaines and Opal Dotson and Fred Dotson all of Hebron, Ky., Ann Mermon of Florence, Ky., Betty Dotson of Cleveland, Campbell and Ella Kiser and Thomas and Diana Kiser, all of Kingsport, and James Kiser of Johnson City, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, at Owens Funeral Service Chapel, with the Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Kiser Family Cemetery in Cleveland. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. before the funeral service. Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
