Madeline Carol Schultz

Schultz, Madeline Carol Born November 4, 1945, passed away Monday August 16, 2010 of heart failure. Madeline was born in Cut Bank Montana along with four brothers, Gary, Bobby, Dennis and Paul and two sisters, Marlene and Nila. Madeline met and married her first husband, Len Dozier in June 1963 while working as a car hop at Ford's Drive-In in Great Falls Montana. Shortly after, they moved to California and welcomed their first daughter Kim, born in 1964. Four years later they welcomed their second daughter, Tiffany, born in 1968. Madeline married her second husband and soul mate on December 31, 1977 - Mike Schultz. Mike owns Mike Schultz Imports and Madeline worked across the street at Yorba Linda Equipment Rentals. From this union, Madeline was blessed with three step sons, Mike Jr., Scott and Jason. Madeline would eventually resign from YL Equipment Rentals to help Mike run Mike Schultz Imports which she did for over 30 years. Madeline and Mike enjoyed many years of camping trips to local lakes and camp grounds with their close friends, Dale and Diane Jones. We will never forget all the great memories of these trips and the comedy of watching Madeline (Mom) and Mike try to work together late at night upon arriving at the camp site to get the trailer backed in and leveled. That's when the Blackfeet Indian heritage in her really came out. For those of us who were fortunate to have Madeline in our lives, we thank her for her kind heart, generosity and limitless love. She truly loved her family and many friends and was always doing for others before herself. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and we will all miss her dearly. Madeline is survived by her husband, Mike; daughters, Kim and Tiffany; step-sons, Mike Jr., Scott and Jason and three granddaughters, Amanda, Gabby and Tori. Madeline, Mom, Grandma…We Love You and May You Rest in Peace in Heaven. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 26, 2010 10am at the First Baptist Church of Yorba Linda - 18372 Lemon Dr., Yorba Linda. Lunch will immediately follow at Main Street Restaurant, 4902 Main St., Yorba Linda. A memorial fund has been established on behalf of Madeline C. Schultz.
