Madison Ryan Mangum

Madison Ryan Mangum, 20, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Grace Church under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the funeral home.

Madison was born February 4, 2003, in Yukon, Oklahoma to Michael Mangum and Jennifer Brooks Mangum. She graduated from Borger High School in 2021 and attended West Texas A&M University in the fall of 2021. During her time at BHS, she was a third baseman for their softball team and was the Bulldog Mascot during her sophomore year. If you knew Madison, or "Madi" to her plethora of friends, then you knew she had an incredible sense of humor and an infectious smile. She was the life of the party, always quick with a witty comeback, and ALWAYS on the go. Madison loved to shop; one might say she should own stock in James Avery. Madison was employed as a manager at Sonic in Choctaw, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Jemi Sue Burnam.

Survivors include her mother, Jennifer Mangum of Borger; father, Michael Mangum and wife Arrica of Choctaw, Oklahoma; brother, Mason Mangum; Grandpa, Terry Brooks of Borger; Nanny and Pop, John and Lynda Sue Mangum of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Great Grandparents, Bud and Frankie Shields of Stratford; uncle, Stephen Mangum of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; aunts, Alicia Winter of Conroe, Jacque Hong of Phoenix, Arizona, Jo Arial of Comanche, Texas; a host of extended family; and numerous friends.
