We were so blessed to have Magali touch our lives with her generous, loving, energetic and kind spirit. Magali, you will be missed more then words can say. I always admired your enthusiasm, your passion for fun and never ending energy! You always had that " more is better" philosophy! I will miss seeing all the Johnny Depp movies with you! I will miss your wonderful accent . I will miss seeing you be so loving and caring to the many children who have come to your daycare! I know my child care children always loved going to Magali's house. Thanks for the wonderful preschool days we had and all the great parties we did for the kids! There are no words to express the amount of love everyone had for Magali. Everytime I saw her, she always had a smile on her face and was so upbeat. I will always remember her smile and all the memories. From when we were kids growing up to seeing her at daycare events interacting with my kids. Nevertheless, we are all resilient, we survive and learn to accept life's happy moments as well as it's sorrows. We will always remember the long friendship and the fond memories. My hope is that you will reflect on the many positive years, wonderful experiences and memories you were all able to share together! I remember your mothers personality as being very jovial, silly and loving! I remember your family {more specifically you} being one of my very first friends/ families that I ever met when I first moved to California! She welcomed me into her home with open arms! ?? Although Magalai was not our full time daycare provider, she spent numerous hours with my 3 children for the past 10 years. When my primary provider was on vacation she ALWAYS figured out a way to fit my kids in for that time. She ALWAYS welcomed us with open arms, a great big smile, and usually a wonderful compliment. My kids were always made to feel a part of the daycare family and I always felt like my children were loved just as much there as they were at home. The thought of not seeing her smile, hearing her laugh, watching her multitask like only she could, is heart wrenching. My heart is aching for her family and for her very close friends and colleagues, two of which have been and are currently my long time day care providers. The cirle of daycare providers she was involved with is seriously something special. I truly believe that there are no other daycare providers that will ever live up to the level of love and compassion Magali and her colleagues provided. You will be so very missed Magali! We love you!!!! To her family, I send big huge hugs and prayers for you!

Magali, I can still hear your laugh and see your hands flailing around as fast as your words came tumbling out your smiling face. I knew you as a parent first at Sacred Heart, volunteer, and fellow daycare provider in the last 20 years. Thank you for the knowledge and reassurance that what I was doing was important, through the ups and downs of a long career. You mattered to me. Carlos, Jimena and Magali's Carlitos, you will be in my prayers for peace at heart today and in the future.

On behalf of all of the daycare provider's that Magali touched, our hearts ache for her family and friends that are left without our dear friend and colleague. Most of us started in this profession to be with and care for our own children. Our children grow up and life goes on. For those of us that continue to care for children year after year I applaud you.
We would like to Thank Magali for all of the wisdom she has shown us providers over the years at countless Association meetings. For all of her colleges I would like to Thank you for all you do on a daily basis to enrich the lives of the children you care for. I would like to leave you all with this thought……… Today like millions of others you went to work. You didn't design a beautiful skyscraper, you didn't write a proposal to save and endangered species, you didn't drive a bus or fly a plane, or write a crucial bill that would become a law. However you did spend time with some very important people. You read a story to an attorney you sang the alphabet song with a Supreme Court Justice. Maybe you ate lunch with a pastor, or patted the back of an engineer until he fell asleep. You might have taught a police officer how to tie his shoes and maybe even introduced a future Firefighter to the color Red. Tomorrow who knows whom you'll meet but one thing is for sure……They will be very important for they are our children and the hope of our future!
Magali we will all miss your beautiful smile and uplifting personality!
