Dearest Maisie, for 30 years you took care of me and the boys, yet you only let us take care of you for 10 months. You have helped so many people for so many years and the community rallied around to help us during this difficult journey. You endured the pains and sufferings so everyone around you can learn the true meaning of love, care, and compassion. I do not want to say good-bye, only to say see-you-later. Your spirit will be always with us. Love Always,

It's a great honor to know Maisie. I had great privileges to witness some parts of her life: seeing how she devoted to her two sons and later graciously stepped into the role of mother-in-law; seeing how she deeply connected with her lifelong partner and husband; seeing how she contributed to the FoodBank, Meals on Wheel and women's shelter for years; seeing how she consistently practiced the environmental protection aspect of the Tzu Chi belief; seeing how she helped everyone in need, including myself; of course, seeing how my family wolfed down her banana bread and red bean rice cake.
I'll forever cherish the memory of those three-hour rides that I shared with her during our meal deliveries.

Dear Maisie,
You truly were a very advanced soul among us in this earth school. You do not need any more challenges and learning in this dimension. Instead, you are promoted to an all encompassing peaceful realm where you simply deserve the best and continue to impact on and live in our heart in a very profound way.

Maisie,
You are a true role model to emulate in serving humanity. You cared, you served and you asked nothing in return. You will always be with us.
