Malachi Buffo

Malachi Buffo passed away on October 1, 2024, in Duke childrens hospital, NC, at the age of 14. Born on September 2nd 2010, Malachi was a beacon of light known for his kindness, humor, intelligence, and compassion. An avid animal and nature lover, he found joy in the simplest pleasures of life, whether it was drawing, exploring the outdoors, or spending time at the beach.

Malachi was a cherished member of Elevation Church, where he embraced community and spirituality. His creative spirit was expressed through his love for art, including drawing and working with clay, and he had a profound interest in animals, bugs, dinosaurs, and K-pop. Malachi also enjoyed making videos and playing Minecraft, activities that allowed him to connect with friends and express his imaginative and fun-loving personality.

He leaves behind a loving family: his mother, Maria Buffo; uncle and aunt, Josh and Keri Baker; cousins Izaiah, Ruby, and Hazelle B; and his nana, Kathy D. Malachi was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Buffo, Aunt Mikaela D, and his beloved pets.

A service to celebrate Malachi's life will be held on Sunday, October 13th, 2024, at 2 PM at Isaiah's Prayer House, located at 282 Scenic Way, Thomasville, NC 27360. Malachi's life was a testament to the strength and beauty of the human spirit, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
