Missing you so much big brother! Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you. I even started a nonprofit to honor your legacy. It´s called The M.A.C.K Legacy Foundation for Paralyzed & Disabled People. We did our first event to honor your memory today, by going to rehabilitation centers and giving out cards for Valentine´s Day. I know you are smiling down from heaven because you loved to make others feel good. Your resilience, kindness, humor and humility still inspires me. I love you forever and always

whew.. well lemme take yall waaaaaay back down 129 aka "down da path" in "Surry Ville" (that was Mac´s name for Surry lol.) mac used to make sure it was almost like a necessity to come see our nanaa & poppa (newby) .. every time he came down there the main question was "grumma what snacks you got cause i got the munchies" back then i didnt know what the real reason of having the munchies was i was like 6 or 7 back then. it was never a dull moment when i was around my cuz´n. i grew up w him. mac was always playing jokes & making it very believable that it wasn´t him until later you found out it really was. i will miss those moments with him. it is a blessing to be able to say that mac was my family. i will forever cherish every memory i have with him. i love you mac mac!! foreverrrr

My little boyfriend. Every time I would come to the house he would come out his room and say Heyyyyy Ms. Burton, with the biggest grin on his face. We would laugh and it was an ongoing joke forever.

Mack was truly one of a kind! He was full of jokes and laughter... whenever he was around, know you would have a time. Even after the accident, Mack would check on everybody else and remind me of how grateful he was for the class doing the fundraiser to help. Even years later just a year ago he talked about it again. He was so humble and appreciative. If he had a down day, you would never know. To see him engage on Facebook and post his pictures truly gave me good spirits because regardless of his situation, he still pushed! God kept you in our presence to show use what endurance to the end means. You did it well and with grace. Take your rest Malcolm and know you are one of my hero´s always.

Malcolm was/is one-of-a-kind, and he showed so many of us what it means to overcome adversity. Every time I spoke with him I admired the fact that his personality and positivity remained the same. I am sure he has the angels in heaven smiling and laughing. Rest in peace, Mack. Sending love to the family.

My Nephew Mack was such a strong young man. Even if he was down you would never know. He always kept a good sense of humor, laughing, and that smile, just out of this world. When he put on clothes, couldn´t tell him nothing. Always was a dressing young man. Had to get a picture to and make sure it was full body . My nephew Mack was a loveable, fun person. He always had you laughing at something. He would make light out of any situation despite the circumstances......a true fighter and full of determination! Mack would always have me cracking up when I would go to visit him. I made sure to have him something to eat before I came cuz oh boy, that boy could eat, lol! We will reminisce on old times and he would always ask about everybody and how everybody else doing. I'm gonna truly miss my nephew......we shared a close bond that I will always cherish. He knew he could call on me and I'll be there.....may not right away, lol, but I was there soon or later. Your Aunt Sadie loves you dearly and will forever be in my heart

Knew of him in high school, but as a new nurse he instilled so much confidence in me, when he first saw me he immediately called me out, trained me as if he was my trainer Mack was more than a patient he was my therapist through both pregnancies he made sure I was taking care of myself always kept me in that room for hours. Always complimented me on great care and kept me running for him I can truly say I will miss the smiles and jokes and even our football Sundays much love my guy

Malcom always made us laugh no matter what. He was very humble and respectful. My favorite memory was when he would be dancing for the pep-rally for homecoming he knew how to make the class of 09´ hype

Where Do I Start I Met Mac when I Was 15 and Bruh Instantly Took me under his Wing He never Cared how Young I was Cause of how I Carried Myself. We Would spend Countless Hours in His Apartment Cracking Jokes and Making Music it was Never a Dull Moment And that's what I'll Miss the Most. It'll Never be another you Bruh.

Malcolm had a way of getting you worked up and then making you laugh, while he just sat there with a grin on his face. He could mock anyone especially celebrities. The way he used to go into character was hilarious. One thing I admired about him is through it all he never lost his spark and he always remained humble. Malcolm was a fighter he taught me to keep pushing no matter what. I think God for placing him in my life when he did. I will cherish the memories and hold them close to my heart.
