It's that time of the year, that I call upon you so many times to be the guest speaker at a MLK function. You would fondly say, Sandra I don't get up that early anymore (9am); but you still came and did an outstanding presentation because you knew the value of educating the next generation about the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Thank you! for all you did for me and especially for the children. Let us "Dream with a Vision but Live with a Purpose! You are dearly misses but you are always in our hearts!

As I re-read your life story, it is just a wonderful reminder too our youth of today to stay focus on helping humanity and that the struggle for equity is not over. We must continue to move forward and remember the warriors and lessons that they taught just along this life journey. Forever in our hearts! Love you, Aunt Mamie. You and others in the family are so missed!

It does not seem like a year has passed since you when on to glory. I am sure you are the affectionately called the "salad queen" in heaven. You will ensure all angels stay health to do God's work. Tell everyone hello for us especially Hilyard Banks we miss you both dearly! Love to all -Sandra

Your beloved was truly a gifted cosmetologist and a faithful fighter in the area of civil rights. She risked her life to help us get where we are today. She was a great inspiration to many people. We pray that the happy memories you have of a life well lived will comfort and sustain you as you grieve the passing of her physical body.

This lady is the reason why Im in the beauty industry...she is the reason why Im business savvy...she helped my mom to raise me to be confident and poised....at the age of 11 she she took me under her wing and taught me that I have the power of creativity therefore I could change things for the better.....I appreciate God for placing Mammie L. Wallace in my life....Im so going to miss her. Nevertheless she has fought the good fight of faith and she has completed her assignment! ❤❤❤

Truly Mamie Wallace has etched the walls of the history of civil rights in a truly remarkable way. She unseflishlessly strived to better the lives of the generations to come and did it well! She has completed her assigned task and after along wonderful life of gracious living, she can be at rest.

A page turned, a chapter completed, a race well run, a solder gone home.
