Mandi Castillo-Ensley Obituary
Mandi was employed by Kenai Safeway and Alaska USA. She was always that bright, happy face you saw when you walked in the door. She would always go the extra mile to help you and make your day better. She was a people pleaser and made many friends because of her humorous and loving personality.
In May of 2004, she brought her beautiful one and only son Maccoy Castillo into this world. He was the love of her life. In August 2020 she married the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, Joseph Ensley. Together they made a life along with her three step-daughters. Mandi loved her entire family deeply and unconditionally.
Mandi is survived by her Father; Eddie (Flaco), Mother; Kimberly, Brother; Christopher (Willie), Sister-in-law; Jennifer, Son; Maccoy, Husband; Joseph Ensley, 3 step-daughters; Dakota, Katie and Sophia, 2 nieces; Jaycie and Abby, 1 nephew; Riel and numerous family members in the lower 48.
Mandi was a bright and beautiful presence in our lives and she will be missed every day, but we have the comfort of knowing she loved Jesus and is now with him. At this time there is no scheduled services due to her son being away at military training. A later date, TBA when Maccoy can be home to participate in celebrating his Mom's life.

My dear friends, I was surprised to hear of her passing this week. Those times I've seen you, I would have hugged you much longer and harder! My heart is broken, yet full for knowing such a sweet friend. I remember the first time I met her! She was one of the first people to welcome me here to Kenai. We became friends as I opened up an account at the bank. Then, having her at the ballgames was the BEST! I loved her then and love her still. Grief can be so hard, but I pray you keep those special memories you cherish with her up front in your heart. We are remembering you all and Mandi today and always. If you haven't held the service yet, please know that we would love to attend. We may be out of town, but if it is streamed, please share it with us. We love you guys! May God be with you and hold you in his loving comfort.

My condolences to Mandi's family. It is hard to believe she is gone from this earth. She knew how to bring a smile to others. She was my positive force when she worked at Walmart. I miss those big crazy glasses she would pill out on occasion. Mandi RIP til we meet again

Mandi. I had no idea you had passed. It didn´t seem like it had been that long since we last spoke. You were such a sweet beautiful lady and had the biggest heart. I´m sad that you´re gone. My prayers go out each day to all of the family..since I herd of this great loss to all. Mandi was like a daughter to me and her life here on earth was way to short. I've had Mandi's family on my heart since hearing of her passing and hoping just once the rumor mill got it horribly wrong. Mandi was so special to our community, her coworkers, her friends... and no one loved their family like Mandi.
