I have very fond memories of Max through a friendship of many years. He was our pharmacist at Standard Drug in Waynesboro. We enjoyed visits with him and Sylvia at the Train Station in Lyndhurst and we shared good times at Temple House of Israel in Staunton. In later years, he was my late husband, Dan's fishing buddy. His was a life well-lived and I send love and condolences to his family. May his memory be for a blessing.
Ellen Schorsch, Waynesboro, Virginia.

So sorry for your loss. I did not know him, but he sounds like an amazing man.

Uncle Max was so beloved. One of my earliest memories was the best Hanukah present he gave me. A pretzel making machine! It was one of my most favorite toys as a young girl. Our visits to Waynesboro to be with our cousins was always a wonderful treat. Max will be missed by so many. May his memory be for a blessing.
