I do not know your family but was struck by a memory of how wonderful the people are that I have met from your country. Your parents were a strong and loving couple to give up everything they knew to come to America so that the children would have a chance to live. I admire your family and wish you well. Mr. Manh Dang has given you a legacy that will always be with you. Please take the time to sit down and put pen to paper and record the stories. As long as the memories live, so shall he. I do not know your family but just by reading your beautifully written words I can tell that this was a wonderful man, truly strong indeed. Practically all obituariaries (especially for men) emphasize their life's occupation. From your words, it is clear that Mr. Manh Dang will be remembered not for WHAT he was but WHO he was. It seems that his children, his family was his real life's work ... what a wonderful, wonderful legacy you have. May God bless and keep you.
