TO IRMA & FAMILIA-
Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Dr. Manuel Lopez. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire LOPEZ & MARTINEZ FAMILY.
Dr. Lopez was a great mentor of mine back when I was a student at Oxnard College days as well with Dr. Linda Chaparro. We also participated in several "Golden Eagles Awards"shows. Went on trips to like Guadalajara, Mexico to visit my family. Our families go way back in the early Oxnard days.
I have just beautiful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you Dr. Lopez......Until Next Time! may you RIP.

Dr. Manuel Lopez has been a friend and client of mine since 1984. I met him back when I worked with Merrill Lynch, and he walked into my office to ask about bearer bonds. Always a man of humbleness, Manuel always had class and the heart of a lion. He was, and will always be, a role model for all Latinos in Ventura County. He always held his head high, and believed in diplomacy and cooperation amongst political rivals to get things done for the greater good. He was a true American hero - a scholar and a gentleman. He touched soooo many lives, and will always be remembered. I was honored to call him my friend... God Bless You, Manuel.

Dr. Lopez was a big part of my family on both the maternal and paternal sides. He was a ward mate with my uncle Gilbert Holguin, when they were afflicted with tuberculosis. Dr. Lopez was also friends with my father Philip, and along with my mother, Rita, they would hang out at my childhood home for poker night parties. I pray Heaven is blessing them all with one huge poker night party!
My condolences to the family
