Marc Merrill Glanz, age 81, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on June 23, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1944, the son of Benjamin and Ida Glanz.

In his personal life, Marc enjoyed his dogs, raising birds, gardening, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. His favorite activities were napping with and giving his puppy, Tootsie, treats and playing the lottery.

He is further survived by his sister-in-law Joan (Dave) Cutler. He was preceded in death by his parents: Benjamin and Ida Glanz and his brother-in-law Joe Baer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Marc on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.

In lieu of flowers, Marc would enjoy if you fed your pet or a wild animal some treats and donate to an animal sanctuary of your choice

Mom, Carol, Bobby, Debbie and Scott

My heart hurts for all of you. In recent years, I have had the most wonderful conversations with Uncle Marc, both at the house and on the phone, the latter which went on for at least 30 minutes, much of it we were laughing. When he knew Mom and I were going to visit him, he would either make corned beef and cabbage or pea soup, knowing I would only eat my own pea soup or his, sharing recipes and short cuts to help me make getting my cooking done faster. I will miss him very much but he will always be in my heart.
