James Robert McCroan II

Services for James Robert McCroan, II, 33, of Lufkin, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009, in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bob Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery. James was born July 17, 1975 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 in a Houston hospital. James was a loving son and brother. He was a special person and touched the lives of all who knew him. Survivors include his parents, James and Sharon McCroan of Lufkin; brother, Jason McCroan of Lufkin; step-brother, John Robert McCroan of Alabama; and a number of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and John A. Arrendell of Shepard and Broward C. and Laura Lee McCroan of Cypress, Florida. Pallbearers will be Mike Arrendall, Richard Arrendell, Michael Arrendell, Sylvester Rodriguez and Robert Brumble.
