MARCELENE PATTERSON Obituary
Age 97, of Mt. Washington, on Monday, January 27, 2014. Wife of the late Charles H. Patterson; beloved mother of the late Jill Maxwell; beloved mother-in-law of Clair Maxwell; loving grandmother of Clair (Kim) Maxwell III, Emily (Brian) Boser, and Adam (Stephanie) Maxwell; and cherished Nana of Owen, Anna, Bailey, Benjamin, Tyler, Leah, and Jacob. Family and friends welcome Friday 5-8 p.m. at WM. SLATER & SONS, INC. (412-381-3345), Virginia Ave. and Kearsarge St., Mt. Washington, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children Hospital or Haven Heights Methodist Church.

Marne was a long time neighbor. She always had a smile and kind word every time you saw her. Used to walk every day and maybe that is part of the reason she led such a long life. She was a joy to be around. Every time I look at her porch I remember all the neighborhood gatherings. My children and I have wonderful memories. Rest in peace Marne.
