MARCELLA G. GLOVER

GLOVER MARCELLA G. GLOVER (nee Gambrill), went home to the Lord on March 20, 2015. A lifelong Cleveland resident, Marcie entered the world on September 3, 1957 as the sixth of nine children to Merle (deceased) and Ellen Gambrill. She met her husband, William H. Glover, during a Church Retreat in 1975. They were married on September 9, 1977. She devoted her adult life to her husband, children, family and the thousands of lives that she touched as a nurse. After her graduation from the Euclid School of Practical Nursing and the St. Vincent Charity Hospital School of Nursing, Marcie's years of service included Lake Hospital Systems, Huron Hospital, MetroHealth Burn Care Center, and most recently, as a traveling nurse at various hospitals around the nation (5 years). She was the loving mother of Kathleen (Chris) Blakeslee, David (Nicole), Carlye Jayme, Angie Glover (Trey Fischer) and Moira Glover. Doting grandmother of Travelle, Travon, Alania, Anthony, Malachi, Levi, Abigail, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Zachary, Kade and Liam. Beloved sister to Moira Lardakis (Tony), Merle Gambrill, Joan Gambrill (John Collura), Scott Gambrill (deceased), Chris Gambrill (Yoko), Damian Gambrill, Adrian Gambrill and Paul Gambrill (Sherri). She is survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of longtime co-workers and friends. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, OH 44077. Family and friends will be received ONE HOUR BEFORE MASS. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lake County YMCA.
