Marcella Michaud

Marcella Michaud, 80, formerly of St. Agatha, ME, died surrounded by her loving children at her home in Newington on Tuesday (March 4, 2003). She was born on January 23, 1924 in St. Agatha, ME and was the daughter of the late Onezine and Phelime Michaud of St. Agatha and attended St. Mary's Church, Newington. Marcella was a graduate of Notre Dame de la Sagesse of St. Agatha and worked at Merrow Machine, Newington for 38 years. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and special friend to so many, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Dionne and her husband, Steve and their son, Stephen of Newington; her son, Kenneth J. Lerman and his wife, Arlene (Chamberland) and their son, Douglas of St. Agatha, ME and their daughter, Amy Strong and her husband, Bobby of Portland, ME; two sisters, Etienette George of Enfield, Florine Gervais and her husband, Bernard of New Britain; three brothers, Samuel Michaud and his wife, Bernadette, Bernard Michaud and his wife, Geraldine, and Carl Michaud and his wife, Theresa, all of St. Agatha, ME. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call TODAY, 4-7 p.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington and Friday, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. till time of service at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha, ME.
