Marc was my roommate at IU's Mason Hall and a really classy guy. I was hocked to hear he passed so young.

Marc was a close and special friend of mine. We were close in Junior high school and somehow drifted apart when we got to the high school. But will forever be in my heart

Our condolences go out to the Longshore Family. Mark and I have some good times when I lived in Denver. Mark and me would meet for breakfast with my daughter Amber N. (Copeland) many years ago.
Good brother and good people.
Mark will be sadly missed. RIP

We had a lot of fun growing up with Marc. If his girlfriends could not find him at his home, they knew to call our house next. It was nice just sitting at home listening to his corny jokes, some how we roared in laughter anyway . My cousin, I can't believe you are gone, but now you are with Darren and your parents. Your infectious smile and the constant twinkle in your eyes will always remain in my heart. To Connie, Bonnie, Tonya & Tammy, may God Bless & keep you as you say good-bye to your brother Marc.

Our deepest sympathy to the Longshore family. I'll always remember playing alongside Marc in the Tiger secondary and how his leadership was an inspiration to his teammates. He was also an outstanding citizen in his community. He was a fine example for us all.

This loss is unlike any loss that I've experienced before. Marc was the center of this large Longshore family. His laid back attitude, the way that he would say the most ridiculous things with a straight face, the way that he could convince you that you could do ANYTHING-no matter how farfetched it might be! How many of us did it?!?! Had it not been for him calling from Denver, we would not have all met for the best Easter gathering that we ever had. Simply because he said, "Cuz, let's do it!". Corbin, Collier, Alex, and Harper, I can't even put together the words for you. To the rest of the family, please know that we have to lean on one another during this time. Remember, that the time and the place for Marc to enter and depart this earth was decided long before any of us were here. Lean not on your own understanding. We were given a gift and we are all a gift to one another. Let's treat one another like the precious gifts that we are.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Longshore family. There were periods of time where Marc and I lost contact with each other, but I still consider him one of my best friends and we were always very close no matter the time or the distance. We had many experiences that I will cherish always. I'll miss him immensely.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Longshore family. Marc was a great athlete, but more importantly, Marc was a great person. Even though the miles and the years were between us, we were always Tiger teammates and friends. Marc was the coolest guy I ever knew.

The pain of this loss is unbearable most days. I have not slept because this does not make sense to me. You were so much more than my brother in-law; you were my brother, my friend and often my advisor. I know our journey is only a season. I will miss the calls of "hey sis what's going on, you don't call, you don't write". Our last talk will be forever etched in my mind and my love for you is placed within my heart. The love you gave and showered upon those who would/could receive it was powerful.
