Mrs. Baker passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 85. The daughter of the late Dr. Stanley and Thelma (Rapps) Pearson was born April 26, 1937 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Baker retired as a registered nurse and enjoyed journaling, going out to eat and boating. She loved animals, especially her pets, Tasha and Gracie.
Marcia is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Miller; one son, Johnathan (Pamela) Miller; three grandchildren, Nicholas Miller and his significant other, Tracy Granger, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Boese and Stephanie (Michael) Losee; five great grandchildren, Colton, Alexandria, Emma and Everleigh Losee and Nash Boese; two sisters, Patricia Pearson, Michelle (Michael) Boyd and sister-in-law, Sheron Pearson and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Baker; brother, Stanley Michael Pearson II; sister, Julie (Gerald) Taylor and her special cousin, Barbara “Janene” (Victor) Campau.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera with private inurnment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Bay County Humane Society will be available at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for your loss Kim and John. I have so many memories of your mom when I was growing up she was like a second mom to me. She loved you kids a lot. you are an amazing daughter to have cared for your Mom the way she cared for you so many years ago. Every conversation l have had with your mom always lead to talking about Kimberly...I hope time helps to heal the pain of your loss . We will miss Aunt Marcia and cherish our memories with her!
