I just learned of Dr. Cohen's passing when Googling family genealogy. I believe Dr. Cohen and I are distantly related by marriage in that her uncle, Hyman Braitman was married to my great-aunt, Anna.
I am related to the Cohns and
Cohanes of Detroit as well as the Cohens of Des Moines and am wondering if there is a double-relationship we have through Saul. (Mine are Litvaks.)
My belated sympathy to the Cohen children. I would love to compare notes with them. Feel free to contact me.
I will be thinking of your mother as we approach her Yahrzeit.

Saul, Please forgive the very late condolences. I just learned a few minutes ago about Marcia's death. Perhaps the news went around at our 50th University-Liggett School Reunion last year, but I was unable to attend, because my wife Lois was very ill, battling cancer. Unfortunately, Lois passed away about two months ago, in mid-December.
I will always have pleasant memories of a couple of parties at your home, and the night you and Marcia traveled up our way to have dinner at Myopia with me, my sisters Stephanie and Paula, and our spouses.

I am saddened to hear of Marcia's passing. I would appreciate it if someone in the family could contact me at [email protected] to learn about Robert. Jerome Tauber

Dear Saul, it has been 36 years since Marcia encouraged my (then) shy husband to make our first date. That was back during the “Brigham & Women's” days, even before you and I started working together. Memories of her teasing and laughter, the pleasure of starting your private practice, and attending the crowded and happy gatherings you hosted at your home are always part of the stories we share about our time in Boston. Marcia's unexpected death leaves us with a sense of incredible loss. We are so sorry. She will always be remembered in our home.

Dear Family, please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss of Marcia. She was a dynamic woman, whom I loved to learn from when she would interject her thoughts at our cancer tumor boards here at HealthAlliance. I especially loved talking to her about her travels to France, and the beautiful clothes she would bring home and wear. She was a wonderful person, beautiful inside and out. May your memories of her bring you joy once the pain of your loss subsides.
