Dear Donna and Jude,
I just spoke with you this week having learned of Marco's passing. You know how terribly touched I am in this very sad time for you. I first began caring for Marco when he was 12. He was always so mature and appreciative during our brief interactions. We went through some relatively minor ordeals providing care, keeping him out of trouble, and assuring critical hearing, which he maintained.
I personally feel a huge void knowing we will not have those combined visits together. I do and will miss him very much. Though redundant, he is, not was, inspirational to everyone he met.
My heart felt sorrow,

We just learned of Marco's passing recently. We knew Marco from the IFPAA Challenger Baseball league. Marco certainly taught others a lot about living life to the fullest. May your sadness someday be replaced with happy memories of him and the joy he brought to others! David, Kathy, Bethany & Josh Borgese

Dear Jude and Donna,
A month has passed and I just learned of Marco's passing yesterday at our first IFPAA Challenger baseball practice. Everyone knows how much Marco loved baseball and it was wonderful that he was able to be on the field and play with us for so many years. Marco had so much heart and spunk. Nothing could keep him from accomplishing what he set out to do. Marco will be fondly remember. It was a pleasure and inspiration to have him in our lives.

Jude & Donna,
I have learned that it is not the "physically handicapped" that are handicapped but those that do not have the "physical" limitations. And Marco was living proof of that for 22 years, thanks to you two and your family. From his Dean's list accomplishments, his participation as a drummer, his fraternity commitment, etc., etc., etc. He inspired so many people in so many, many ways yet because he did not feel "handicapped" (as he was NOT), he and you may have not even know the extent of it. He was, and still is, God's blessing that he gave to you and so many others. If only some of us could have viewed life as he did and could be half as good of a person that he was....
