MARCUS A. BALLIN
Marcus is survived by Two daughters; Becky Espinosa and husband Julio, Bertha Moya and husband Paul and Two sons; Armando Ballin and wife Agnes and Noel Ballin and wife Peggy. Brother, Ben Ballin and sister, Margaret Juarez. Thirteen grandchildren; Justin, Jamian and Jackie Espinosa, Christy and Bryan Moya, Leigh Ann Carter, Chalene Martinez, Sharice Estrada, Shaunya, Ryan, Roman, Robby and Regan Ballin, and Eleven great-grandchildren; Jacob Espinosa, Christopher Rivera, Rosalie Carter, Devyn, Skyla, and Judas Martinez, Nikolas Estrada, Abigail and Andrew Villarreal, Seth Hunt and Lainee Ballin.
Marcus was retired from the Edna Rice-Belt warehouse.
Preceded in death are his parents, and wife Janie Ballin, Two sisters, Otilia Barragan and Cecelia Morales. Two brothers, Jimmy and Lupe Ballin.
Visitation willl be Wed. May 23, 2012 at the Slavik Funeral Home in Edna, from 5 ~ 8 pm with a rosary at 7pm.
Funeral services will be Thurs. May 24, 2012 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Edna at 10:30 am, with Rev. Michael Petering officiating, followed by interment in the Edna Latin-American Cemetery.
Pallbearers; Justin Espinosa, Jamian Espinosa, Bryan Moya, Ryan Ballin, Roman Ballin, Robby Ballin and Shalene Martinez.
Services under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St., Edna. 361-782-2152.

What can I say that hasn't already been said in all of the wonderful tributes written about you Mr. Ballin! Although I didn't know you, I'm sure you were the greatest, funniest and a loving man. There are no words for the way your family feels, and their lives are forever changed. I know they miss you, but also know that you are with those (in spirit) who grieve for you. Your family and friends have no idea what to make of your passing as the tremendous loss can never be replaced, but the wonderful memories of you will be with them forever. Rest in peace Mr. Ballin. You are gone but you will never be forgotten...
