Marcus Dorian Mitchell

The beloved one, our gift, Marcus Dorian Mitchell was born June 21, 1990 to Marcus Duayne Mitchell and Gayle Ann Packer. He would be their only wonderful child.
He loved his life, the person he was at heart. He was unselfishly kind and generous to friends and strangers sharing what he could, including his charming wit and intellect.

Marcus Dorian made friends from all over the world because he was fluent in the universal language of love. This gift he received from God and honored it with the deepest respect and gratitude.

He was very athletic, unafraid to try a stunt or a trick on a bike or a 'board.
He was a lot of fun to hang around. He played chess, shot pool, played basketball, and swam with the sea turtles, but his passion was skateboarding. He made lifelong friends doing the things that brought him and others together in peace.

Marcus Dorian was also a spiritual man, he made up his mind to dedicate his life to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 10, 2004. He did his best to remain close to his God. We, his mom and dad were privileged to have our beloved one live with us until his passing. Every day we heard, 'I love you mom and dad'. Every day he heard, 'I love you Dorian, see you tomorrow little Buddy'.

Marcus Dorian Mitchell passed away in his sleep on April 10, 2024.

He will awaken from his rest in the very near future in God's Kingdom of Peace to see our happy tearful faces. (Revelation 21: 3-5)

Marcus Dorian Mitchell is survived and cherished by his mom and dad, Marc and Gayle Mitchell, and by many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and his loyal loving friends.

Services to honor and celebrate Dorian's life will be held this Saturday April 20, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 14500 E. Andrews Drive, Denver, CO 80239. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to JW.ORG in his memory.

Hoy Baker Funeral Home in Commerce City is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. Dorian's legacy of love, friendship, and passion for life will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
