Dearest mum, we are missing you so dearly. Whilst you live in our hearts and will forever, not having the ability to talk to you, hear your voice, miss your amazing interaction with the kids, is the thing we are struggling most with. Life for us has changed immeasurably, but your influence ond love for us all will live on. Love you, Andrew

Sacred Heart College Former Students/Teachers & Friend

October 30, 2017

On behalf of the Old Girls - former students, staff and friends of the old Sacred Heart College in Wanganui, we would like to offer our condolences for the loss of your Mum, our dear friend, colleague, Principal and teacher.
The many hours that Maree put into Sacred Heart College, to ensure that the young ladies of the College received the best education possible, along with a healthy balance of sport and the many house filled events ensured that a balanced education was had by all.
Maree, we thank you for upholding the Special Character' of Sacred Heart College, for always motivating both staff and students to always give of their best and aim higher to achieve their goals. Thank you for sharing in the many success of the College with us all, and for being there to guide us all through the tough times. It was a privilege.
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
RIP
