Later in life she married her true love Harley "Bill" Bailey and together they enjoyed traveling, going on drives in the mountains, sharing a good bottle of wine, and taking daily walks together.

She loved quilting, playing cards, crossword puzzles, walking and anything outdoors. She enjoyed baking and was famous for her chocolate chip cookies and lemon meringue pies. She loved to go to the mountains and hug a tree! In the last year she enjoyed art classes at the GJ Senior Center and volunteering at Heirlooms for Hospice.
