Lunch lady in Lynn SchoolsPEABODY - Margaret M. (Spinelli) Benedetto, 92, of Peabody died on Thursday July 19, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. Her lifelong companion Fred Finn pre deceased her in 2002.Mrs. Benedetto was born on December 5, 1914 in New York, NY daughter of the late Bernard and Serafini (Bozzi) Spinelli. She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School Class of 1931. She resided in Lynn for most of her life moving to Peabody in 2000.Mrs. Benedetto was employed for many years as a cafeteria worker for the City of Lynn School System until her retirement in 1960. She bowled for many years on bowling leagues in Nahant.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila M. and John Tournas of Peabody; 3 granddaughters and their spouses, Christine A. and Steven Whitman of Danvers, Melissa A. and David Markus of Peabody and Diana E. Tournas-Albino and Anthony Albino of Revere; 6 great grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob and Rachel Whitman, Samantha and John DelGreco and Dylan Markus.
