Margaret E. BOSS

BOSS, Margaret E. March 8, 1938 March 16, 2012 Marg passed away peacefully with family by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by Dick, her husband of 50 years; sister, Jeanne; brothers, Al and David; her three children, Jon, Tim and Kathy; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Heather, Nathan, Aaron, Madison and Reegan; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Lyndon; her beloved dog, Abby and many dear friends. A gifted educator, Marg began her teaching career with a diploma and taught primary for three years before raising her family. She returned to teaching after completing her degree and devoted her career to special education and primary. She spent her retirement years enjoying her quilting and Engineers' Wives groups and volunteering at Montessori Preschool. She was also passionately involved in the lives of her grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Gagliardi and the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. A Memorial Service to celebrate Marg's life will be held in McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson & Vancouver Streets at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, March 31, 2012, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, 2166 Mount Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC, V8M 2B2 or Island Montessori, 5575 West Saanich Road, Victoria, BC, V9E 2G1.
