MARGARET BREARLEY Obituary
BREARLEY MARGARET (nee Hey) On 6th December 2011, peacefully at Overgate Hospice, Elland, after a short illness Margaret, aged 66 years, of Trimmingham, dearly loved wife of Raymond, loving mother of Amanda, Julie, Joanne and Andrew, a dear mother-in-law, a much loved grandma of Jamie, Benjamin and Sophie, a beloved sister of Brian and a dear sister-in-law and aunt. Service and cremation at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland, on Wednesday, December 14th, at 12.45 pm., Family flowers only. Donations would be appreciated to Overgate Hospice, 30, Hullen Edge Road, Elland, HX5 0QY or a donation box will be available. Will friends please meet at the crematorium and accept this as the only intimation.

Missing Mum

I awake each morning to start a new day
But the pain of losing you never goes away.
I go about the things I have to do
And as the hours pass I think again of you.
I want to call you and just hear your voice
Then I remember that I have no choice
For you are not there and now my heart cries
Just to see you again to tell you goodbye
To say Mum I love you and I always will
And hope that much of you, in me you've instilled.
The day that you left I just didn't know
That you were going where I couldn't go.
And now all my memories of you are so dear
But gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here.
Who now can hear me when I need to cry?
It so hard to tell you "Mum goodbye."
Someday I know all will be well
And I'll see you again with stories to tell
Of how you were missed and how we have grown
And how good it is to finally be home.
Until then my memories of you I'll keep near
And I'll pass them on to those who are dear.

6 Months
6 months today you were taken from us, seems like only yesterday.
Last Fight
A face that is always on my mind,
A smile I have seen a million times,
Two eyes that would light up the sky at night,
One last battle you could not fight,
The day was long, then night then morn.
I knew that soon you would be gone,
I clasped your hand so warm in mine,
Soon we would be out of time,
To stay with us you fought so hard,
A million pieces went my heart,
Now a photo I look at to see your smile,
I keep your number on my speed dial,
A video I watch to hear your voice,
This I do.... I have no choice.,
But great memories I will always keep with me,
Your love in my heart for eternity,
I never got to say goodbye,
To understand why, I can but try,

I do not need a special day to bring you to my mind.
The days I do not think of you are very hard to find.
Each morning when I awake I know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache as I try to carry on.
My heart still aches with sadness and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you no one will ever know.
