Although Grandma lived hundreds of miles away,we always knew we were close to her heart.
Every letter or card she sent was written as if she was sitting beside you, sharing a cup of tea.
Grandma Carr will continue to be a family treasure. Her gentleness, sense of humour and ease of conversation will be cherished forever.

Grandma Carr was always thoughtful, caring, loving, and accepting. Lin-Li and I have fond memories of our visits with Grandma. We will cherish the many stories that Grandma shared with us. Grandma will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts and minds.

I always enjoyed a visit with "Grandma Carr". She was a genuine person and a sweet soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

Grandma Carr showed genuine interest in what her grandchildren and great grandchildren were doing. She took the time to drop personal notes not only on birthdays and Christmas but also "just because" we were in her thoughts. These gestures will be cherished. She was kind, loving and sincere. She is treasured and will be always be in our thoughts and memories.

The photo is of Margaret (Peggy) Carr at her 98th birthday celebration Oct 10, 2010 at the Regent Hotel in Victoria, BC. All the local BC family attended and we had a great time together. Initially Peggy said she didn't want to go across to Victoria at all but once we got there and the party started she had a great time visiting with everyone.
