1939 - 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Dagenais on Monday January 23rd, 2012, at the age of 72. Cherished wife of Fidele Dagenais for 50 years. Loving mother of Deborah De Rouchie (Peter), Brenda Chayer (Vince), and Sharon Dagenais (Jean). She will be greatly missed by her nine adoring grandchildren. She leaves behind her best friend Sheila Seguin. Predeceased by her brother Lorne Bradley. The Dagenais family would like to thank the staff at the Civic Hospital, Unit B 5, for their care and compassion. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. W. (Centretown), on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In memoriam, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. www.kellyfh.ca

Thank you God for giving me my wonderful mom. We are blessed to have had her in our lives for 72 years. I will always cherish the last 2 weeks my sister Brenda & I spent at the hospital with mom, laughing, crying and sharing precious moments together. Dear uncle Phil and family,
It is with great regret to hear the passing away of aunt Margaret. I will always remember her smile and her special request to sing her “Pick me up on your way down” whenever I had a guitar in my hands.
