Margaret Ann Earle

Margaret Ann Earle passed away at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH on December 4 at the age of 81.

Margaret was born on June 14, 1941, in St. Paul, MN, to Margaret Peck Earle and Robert Emmett Earle. The family moved frequently, following their father's career in the US Army, including a station in Copenhagen, Denmark. The family eventually settled in Andover, Massachusetts. Margaret graduated from the Melrose/Wakefield School of Nursing in 1960. Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years, initially including a year in Paris, France. She returned to Andover and worked in the NICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for the remainder of her career. She was passionate about her work with premature infants. Margaret retired at the age of 72 and moved to New London, NH.

Margaret had a great interest in world cultures, traveled extensively, and spoke four languages. She studied classical ballet and and opened her own studio, Le Studio de Ballet in Andover, teaching students there for over 25 years, concurrent with her nursing career. Margaret also enjoyed studying and playing the piano. Margaret had a big heart and was generous to her family, including three generations of nieces and nephews. She was vivacious, outgoing, and had a great sense of humor.

Margaret was pre-deceased by her father Robert, mother Margaret, sister Judy Earle, and nephew Erick Earle. She leaves behind three sisters and one brother: Nancy Earle Blake and her husband Patrick of New Braunfels, TX; Sally Earle Haas and her husband Dennis of New London, NH; Robert Earle and his wife Elizabeth of Harrisville, NH; and Theresa Earle of Hancock, NH.

Chadwick Funeral Service of New London is assisting the family with arrangements, to include a small graveside service for family and close friends at St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover, MA.
