Margaret Huber Obituary
She married Ben Huber in 1958 and they moved to California. Margaret was a registered nurse and liked working in the operating room. She worked until she retired to raise a family.
Margaret was active in the Community United Methodist Church, Wednesday Club and the University Society. She loved to hike and backpacked all over the western United States. She enjoyed Sierra Club service trips and participated in over 15 trips. She got pretty proficient using a two-man crosscut saw on those trips.
She was preceded in death by her husband (after 65 years of marriage), parents, brother (Wayne) and sister (Barbara). She is survived by her daughter (Lyn) in Idaho and son (Eric) in Montana.
She will be missed by her family, friends, and Jake the Schnoodle. To honor Margaret's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and will be followed by a scattering of ashes at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to NorthBay Healthcare Foundation or the Community United Methodist Church (both in Fairfield, California).
