**Obituary**

Margaret "Peg" Hundemer, nee Warnock, passed away on May 16, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 75. She was born on May 9, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to her late parents, Byron and Jean Warnock. Peg is survived by her loving spouse, Joe Hundemer, her children Beth Fisk (David) and Matt Hundemer (Amy), her grandchildren Brady Gowen (Cassidy), Brett Gowen (Caitlyn), and Max Hundemer, her great-grandchild Maddox Gowen, as well as her siblings Mary Jean Wickemeier, Betty Hertsenberg (Twin), Joan Warnock, Dan Warnock, and Kathie Lipps and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sibling, Steve Warnock.

Peg had a fulfilling career as both a school teacher and a registered nurse. Even after retiring from both professions, she continued to share her passion for education and caring for others until her last days. Her strong, kind, and loving nature touched the lives of many.

In her leisure time, Peg enjoyed being with her family, climbing mountains, playing the harp, solving crossword puzzles, taking walks with her husband and their dog, relaxing on her bench, and lounging in her swimming pool.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 12 pm to 3 pm at The Farm, 239 Anderson Ferry Road, Cincinnati, OH 45238.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society, or ACLU in memory of Margaret Hundemer. Her legacy of love and kindness will be cherished by all who knew her.

So sorry to hear of the loss of my seton classmate. We shared classes together and enjoyed laughing. We were roommates on the senior trip to Washington DC, had a blast!! Jumped on the beds and cut an apple with a toothbrush!! She will be missed.
