Obituary
Margaret Angela "Angie" Lloyd, 32, of Rex Road passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004. She was born Dec. 26, 1971, in Forsyth County to Jan Taylor Leonard. Angie graduated from West Carteret High School, Morehead City, in 1992. She attended Forsyth Technical Community College and studied computer programming. She was a member of Christ Temple. She enjoyed gospel singing and had a special relationship with Michael Combs. She was a blessing to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William D. "Paw-Paw" Taylor. Surviving in addition to her mother are a brother, Chris Lloyd (Donise); a sister, Kim Howard (Andrew); her grandmother, Margaret E. Taylor; a special uncle, Davis Taylor (Bonnie); nephews Christian Lloyd, Joseph Williams and Jacob Howard; nieces Kayla and Jessica Barber; and a special cousin, Tina Pinckney (Jeff). Angie touched many lives and made many friends. Our thanks to special friends Angie Fletcher, Kristie Gillians, JoAnn Holder and Faye Crouch. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today, Dec. 18, at Christ Temple Church with Pastor Mike Lane and Chaplain Ken Bradstock officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be directed to her uncle, W.D. Taylor, 3607 Thomasville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 to assist with funeral expenses. Angie and her family wish to express their deep appreciation to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter of Winston-Salem; the ninth floor West Palliative Care Unit of Forsyth Medical Center; and to all who have been so very kind and helpful during Angie's illness.
