Margaret E. ""Nellie' Lund, age 86, a native of Manvel, ND died Friday, July 8, 2005 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks, ND. Margaret Ellen Levi was born November 4, 1918 the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Murphy) Levi in Ferry Township, Manvel, ND. She attended Manvel Schools and married Emil A. Lund on October 24, 1946 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND. They lived in Manvel. Emil preceded her in death on November 21, 1993. Nellie continued to live in Manvel until moving to St. Anne's Guest Home, Grand Forks in December of 1999 and later to Valley Eldercare Center in November of 2004. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Luoma, Grand Forks, ND and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Chester David Lund on March 30, 1969; her parents; sisters, Mamie, Annie, Anna Mae Keegan and Myrtle Foerster; brothers, James, Walter, William and John. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Manvel, ND. Visitation: 5 to 7:00 p.m. Monday with 7:00 p.m. vigil service and a 4:30 p.m. rosary in Gregory J. Norman - Norman Funeral Home, S. Washington St., Grand Forks, ND and one hour before the liturgy at the church on Tuesday. Burial: St. Timothy's Cemetery, Manvel, ND.
