Margaret Markham

MARKHAM, Margaret (nee Laporte) Passed away peacefully on June 27, 2011 at 77 years of age. Beloved wife of Jim Markham. Dear mother of Emma Louise and husband Duarte Rego, Susanne and husband Bart Chapman & Henry and wife Beth Ann Meloche. Treasured grandmother of Jennifer Zaremba and husband Darryl, Richard Renaud and wife Aggie, Matthew Meloche and wife Jennifer, Rachel Meloche and finance Cory Matchett, and Giselle Lara. Great-grandmother of Faith Zaremba, Sean Hickey, Lachlan Meloche-Keating, Tessa Meloche, Fate Renaud and Cadence Matchett. She will be sadly missed by the Bachmeier and Chapman families. Dearest sister of Rose, Sally, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Fred, John, Loretta, Everett and Eva. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Mary's Church in Maidstone. She was a member of the Essex Retiree's Bowling League. Margaret is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Essex on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, friends are invited to meet the family after 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church (Maidstone) followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Kingsville.
