Our deepest sympathy goes to you Lorne and your family in the passing of a very special person, Marnie. May it be comforting to know that heaven now has a precious angel to watch over you. We couldn't have asked for a more kind, considerate and compassionate neighbor. We too will miss her special refreshments and snacks that she so often provided during our summer projects. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. God Bless.

To Lorne and family;
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Marnie. She was such a good friend to Karl and I when we were members of the Sunny Sam Club. I would like to attend the service but I don't have a vehicle any more and must rely on others or Handi-Transit to get me to where I need or want to be.

Lorne & Family,
Learned just yesterday that Marnie's time on earth had drawn to a close, and that her memorial service is tonight. Laura joins me in expressing deep sympathy to you and yours.
All my memories of Marnie are good ones! As a school trustee, I always so enjoyed visiting the elementary school in Sanford, and saw the genuine commitment she had for the children in her care. Also met her on various occasions later when she was on the board, and much appreciated that she brought with her the desire to serve the children of the entire school division.
Due to a prior commitment, I cannot be at the memorial service, but I do want you folks to know the respect and appreciation I had for a wonderful lady.
May God comfort you during this tough time.

Lorne, I just heard the news, and want to express my deepest condolences. I met Marnie only once, but was very impressed with her - I know she will be deeply missed by yourself, family and friends. May God grant you the courage to cope with this loss - those you know, both in and not involved in Scouting will help to sustain you.
