In memory of
Pat Gorman (Bowles)
May 27, 2018
I was friends with Peg many many years ago, back in the mid-late 70s when we were teaching together in Edison. Life events came along, and we lost touch. Then for some unknown reason, she came into my mind recently and I thought I would look her up. I am grieved to learn she passed away almost ten years ago! She was a wonderful person and friend, full of joy and kindness. Thoughts of her will reside in my heart always.

I will always cherish my memories of Peggy from Carteret High. She was a wonderful friend, bright, funny, talented, and loving. I'm so sorry we lost track, and Bob, let's not lose track again. My sincere sympathies and prayers are with all of you.

Twelve years ago, I became a pet owner for the first time. I will always remember how much Peggy loved animals. While doing a show at Villagers, we shared stories about our pets, and the joy they brought to our lives. I had found a fellow "cat lady", and we were OK! My deepest sympathy to Peggy's family. Peggy left this world too soon. I hope you find comfort in knowing Peggy had many friends who cared about her, and whose lives she touched.

I had the great pleasure of meeting and sharing the stage with Peggy in NOT NOW, DARLING at Villagers. She brought a spark to her character onstage and off, and I have no doubt that was what made her an excellent teacher. I hope that spark carries on in her family, friends and students.
With the greatest of sympathy to Peggy's loved ones, I pray that she has found eternal rest.

I had her as an 8th grade teacher nearly 10 years ago and she has left an everlasting impression on me. She was a great teacher. Being an educator now I appreciate the work that she put in to set us kids on the right track. She will be greatly missed and my condolences to the family and friends of Ms. McGrath.

I met Peggy 20 years ago, when we performed together in NOISES OFF! at Villagers Theatre. She impressed me then as a kind and caring person, deeply committed to her family, friends and students. I rejoice in her release from the suffering of this world, while my heart grieves with those who are left behind.
