Margaret McKasy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 31, 2025.
Margaret Mary McKasy

The youngest of 8 children born on September 8th, 1962 to Mary Ann and John Cameron McKasy. Maggie passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, surrounded with love by her family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Mary Ann McKasy and John Cameron McKasy, brothers John McKasy and Kevin McKasy. Survived by her beloved children Hayden Wiley Olson and Annie McKasy Olson, siblings Mary Pat McKasy (Dr. James T. Young), Patrick McKasy, Timothy McKasy (Mary), Maureen McKasy, Theresa McKasy, her beloved twin and "womb-mate", her step family the Landwehr's and special friend James Miley.

Maggie had a 30 plus year career as a flight attendant beginning with Republic, then Northwest and retiring from Delta Airlines.

Her quick witted sense of humor can't be matched, nor could her head tilting belly laugh.

She will dearly be missed many friends and relatives. Special thanks to United Hospital Emergency Room and the fourth floor unit and LifeSource for their excellent care, kindness and compassion. Thanks also to those who joined the family in Maggie's Honor Walk.

Yesterday

I will be unable to attend the memorial, but have a favorite memory to share. Mary Pat´s cabin for Jess´s bachelorette parties. Karaoke time and Maggie and T rockin the joint singing Drops of Jupiter. So sad those twins were so shy
