Just heard today about Margaret when taking my wife for her checkup...to say we were shocked is an understatement. She was honest, direct and caring. Always there when you needed a question answered at uncertain times. We will always remember her for being kind to us...Rest in Peace Margaret

Your mother was my NP at Dana-Farber. She treated me with such compassion, love, dignity, gentleness and candor. We always found time to laugh. We know she is in heaven. Tony S. (and Loretta C.)

We have been neighbors of Margaret for nine years. We were so very saddened to hear of her passing. Memories of her brought us such joy when we would see her with her beautiful dog and friend Whitney. I would meet her in the hall way with Whitney and had the best conversations while Whitney would play with our cat Nala. Will terribly miss our talks while she sat on her deck with Whitney as I walked by. Margaret was the kindest and most thoughtful person you´d ever want to meet and have as a friend/neighbor. She was taken too soon and has left a feeling of love with everyone she had gotten to know especially our friends in the building. Rest in Peace knowing we will never forget you.

Words cannot express how sorry I am that Margaret is no longer with us . I mention her name regularly to people I meet that are going into nursing. I tell them my mother´s nurse, Margaret was more than just a nurse she was a friend, a therapist, and just an all around special person. I tell them the world would be a better place if it was made up of more Margaret´s. My mother, sister and I were lucky to have met her.
We will miss you Margaret.
Love your biggest fan, Jason

I first met Margaret when we went to kindergarten We had a tight group of girlfriends all through to the end of high school We spent much time doing everything together Margaret always knew she wanted to be a nurse She turned out to be an exceptional one ! She dedicated her life to care for those fitting cancer I was so sorry she had to fight it She took her knowledge and gave it a hell of a fight .She worked at spending her time with her beautiful family and friends that meant so much to her right to the end

I´m heartbroken to learn of Margaret´s passing. I was a patient of hers in 1997, she did my chemo and took care of me like I was her daughter, as I was only 23 at the time. We stayed in touch ever since and I´ve been praying for her. I can´t find the words to explain the impact she made on my recovery- taking calls from my parents and guiding us throughout my treatment and beyond. And I´m so grateful I spoke to her a few weeks ago to tell her what she meant to me. She was a dear friend and will never be forgotten. Thinking of all her friends and family at this most difficult time.

I worked with Margaret as an RN at DFCI and held her in very high regard. She was a spitfire to say the least. Direct, funny, endlessly compassionate. She was both a friend and a colleague, easy to approach and ask questions, you got a real honest answer from her. I really appreciated her attitude and her authenticity. She will be deeply missed. I have patients that ask about her often, they cared for her as deeply as she cared for them.
