Margaret O'Gorman Obituary
Margaret M. "Peggy" O'Gorman of Valley Cottage, NY, passed away at home with family by her side on August 7th, 2016. She was 52 years old. Peggy was born in Nyack, NY in 1964 and graduated from Nyack High School and RCC.
She is survived by her parents Patrick P. O'Gorman, Helen Jean Traverson O'Gorman, her siblings P. James O'Gorman, Kelly Ann Pifer, Gregory T. O'Gorman, five nieces, and two nephews.
Peggy will be remembered for her creative spirit, caring nature, independence, and beautiful smile. She worked at Traverson's Wooden Indian and fought a long battle against mental illness with the help and support of her family, MHA of Rockland County, and PROS.
Family and friends will celebrate her life at a memorial mass on Saturday at 1pm at St. Ann's RC Church in Nyack, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Ann's Food Cupboard, 16 Jefferson Street, Nyack NY, 10960.

A kind and loving person was Peggy. The world lost a a special person. I do not understand why God takes some and not others.
I pray that God grants family and friends some comfort. Hold on to the promise that family and friends will be reunited when the Messiah comes.

Dear Mrs. O'Gorman, my heart was so sad to hear about Peggy. KarenAnn Chalsen told me recently when we were visiting. I remember Peggy working at the Wooden Indian. Our youth group from Simpson Memorial frequented there for ice cream! Bobby and I used to go for breakfast on weekends. May God, in His infinite mercy and grace, continue to uphold you with His righteous right hand as you continue with troubled days ahead. Take heart that one day we will all join Him in the sky.
