My sister and I were adopted. I was 5 yrs old when we went to pick her up. I remember being SO excited about getting a baby sister. When we arrived at the facility and they brought her out, I was instantly in love. My parents were instantly in love also. They were beaming! After everything was settled, we got ready to go home. I asked them if I could hold her in the back seat and keep her safe on the drive home. They actually said "yes". I was THRILLED! So, the whole way home, I was in complete awe. I was a BIG sister.

When I was pregnant with my boys, my sister and I would go to El Chico's to eat once a week. Those were great times and are cherished memories.

I remember the day that my parents and I went to the agency to pick up my new baby sister. She was beautiful and I loved her so much.
