Margaret taught me to dance, to sing, and to play. She was a wonderful friend and room-mate. Thank you, Margaret. My profound condolences to Guy and to Judy and Janet and their families.

As a former colleague in Sask. Health, I benefited from Margaret teaching others ill-suited to the bureaucracy the importance of principled discrimination and anti-authoritarian arbitrariness. Along with Guy, who shared her relishment of life's little and big absurdities, she inspired many to pursue artistic passions with discipline as well as love. Saskatchewan has lost a truly unique individual and artist.

I still remember my cousin "Muggy" in a high school play in Leader. She was hilarious! Even though we didn't keep in touch over the years, I remember her fondly. My condonlences to Guy and her sisters and families.

As a painter, Margaret's work was evocative, uncompromising and unique. She remained very much her own person during the 70's and 80's eclectic art scene in Saskatchewan when I knew her best. She was intelligent, warm and funny....a privilege to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear of Margaret's death. Although we were nodding acquaintances, not friends, she was always warm and friendly, and it seems to me, always laughing. My deepest condolences to her family and to Guy.
