Margery was a tremendous help to me when I was a new mother at MIT. She was kind, resourceful, patient, and always made time for my questions and calls. I was telling someone about her today. I still feel grateful to her, thirty years later. She was a wonderful person.

Throughout High School Margie was my best friend. She was the one who introduced me to Star Trek which became a life-long love for both of us. Our last get together was a Star Trek conference in Denver where we attended a television show highlighting one of the guests. I was always in awe of her intelligence and empathy to others. At the time of her passing I was in a nursing home and out of touch. I will miss her sadly.

Never met in person, but we became very close friends via the internet about 2007. She was always a great friend to share joys and troubles, offering encouragement, advice, and humor. We shared many common interests and communicated almost daily for 17 years. Like most people whose lives she touched,I know my life was enriched by knowing and associating with Margery.
