Marguerite "Peggy" Ellen Elliott, 95 passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born December 19, 1922 to Aurelien and Leila McGee Hebert in Iota, La. In 1939 she moved to Houston to start nursing school. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital as an R.N. for 17 years.

In 1956 she married L.M. Elliott and they had two children, Elaine and Allen. She was a long time parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Then in 1992, Peggy moved in with her daughter and her family and began attending St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring, TX. Peggy enjoyed a long life filled with family, friends and much love. She was a friend to all and loved by many.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Russell and Allen and in 1991 her husband of 35 years L.M. Elliott. She is survived by her daughter Elaine Patz and husband Mark, son Allen Elliott and wife Lisa, grandchildren Jennifer and Travis Pollet, Allyson and Joe Jett, Peyton and Connor Elliott, great grandchildren Avery Jett, Kayden Pollet and Norah Jett (due 12/18) and also many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet, Bellaire, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 5th 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX. Following a reception at the church, Rite of Committal will be at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy requested donations to St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church.
