You probably don't remember me, but I was in John's class at school and we have remained friends over the years. I am the daughter of Ellen/Eddie Haag and Paul Seaney. Both my Father and Step Father have passed on, but my Mother is still alive and here in Idaho with me in a local Nursing Home. I didn't know your wife was a nurse but I am too, so that gives me a special bond with her, as I feel all nurses are kindred spirits. John told me that your Maggie had dementia and I know first hand what a terrible illness that is, as my step father had multi infarct dementia and died in a hospice unit as well. It is so hard to watch their brilliance and brightness slowly fade away. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Paula Gilbert

Uncle Dave and Family; Hello, my name is Juli Shelgren (Silva). Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of Aunt Marguerite. Unfortunately, it has been many years since we visited - I was quite young, your family was still in Robinson, Ill., and I lost a front tooth at your home eating a bologna sandwich. I just hope that I have some of the Shelgren "genes." - May Dad is 85! Wishing you all well!
