Marguerite B. Hollingsworth Age 86, preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Maurice Chester "Holly" Hollingsworth, her brother L. John Bernatz and granddaughter Laura Anne. Born September 14, 1917 in Chicago, IL of loving parents Louis J. and Linda M. Bernatz. Survived by her sister Kathryn "Kay" Meihaus of Pasadena and her brother, Thomas Bernatz of Anaheim Hills. Devoted mother of six sons, Stephen of Fairfax, CA; Thomas (Susan) of Portland, OR; James (Patricia) of Spokane, WA; William (Maureen) and Robert (Martha) of Pasadena, CA; MIchael (Elizabeth) of San Marino, CA, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and twenty nieces and nephews. Marguerite moved with her parents to Indianapolis, IN where her younger sister Kay and two younger brothers, John and Tom, were born. She attended Saint Agnes Academy, Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and Cincinnati Academy of Art where she studied commercial fashion drawing. She married her beloved Holly June 21, 1941 after his graduation from Indiana University Medical School after which he earned his commission in the US Navy and served as physician in the Pacific during WWII. Following the war, Marg and Holly moved to Los Angeles where they shared the active demands of raising six rough and tough boys. Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, April 2nd at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church, Pasadena, CA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 311 North Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91107 or Mission Doctors, 3435 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 1035, Los Angeles, CA 90010.
