My deepest sympathies to the family. I went to elementary through high school with Pam. She always had a big smile and made me feel better about things. The last I saw Pam was on Court Street and I introduced her to my wife who Pam already knew. But she made over my wife and was excited for us. Pam was a good person who taught us many lessons and was a good friend to me growing up.

Dear Family: I am so sorry to read of Pam's passing. I too worked with Pam many years ago and remember her smile and desire to help. She was a remarkable young lady! May God comfort you during this difficult time.

I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of Pam's passing. While I didn't know her well, I'm a classmate of Brett and Bart and knew her in high school. My memories of her were always of such sweetness and smiles. I was so very delighted to get a facebook friend request from her in July... We chatted for a bit, she said that she was really enjoying the Laurels and that she had made many friends already. Brett and Bart, and the entire Rypma family, you are in my thoughts and in my heart.

Dear Norma & Family,
It has been an honor to know and enjoy you and your family for so many decades. Pam was such an innocent soul and her warmth and openness to the world around her will be what I remember most.
Pam lives on in all of our fond memories.

My deepest condolences to all in the Rypma family. I attended Putnam with Brett and Bart, and remember Pam with a smile. She was unfailingly sweet and kind to me. Reading of her work, her volunteerism, and her involvement with her church makes me aware of what an impact she made on her community. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, and wish peace to all who loved her.

I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Pam's passing. She was such a sweet person and always a smile for everyone. We went to high school together and I was fortunate to get to spend a few hours with her at the Laurels a couple months ago. We chit chatted for a while and then she was off to take part in a corn hole game, smiling and laughing. My heart goes out to Pam's mom and family, she will truly be missed. I just know that Pam's beautiful smile is lighting up heaven. I am sorry that I wont be able to attend calling hours or the funeral. I have my mother in my home and take care of her. But please know that you all remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember spending several nights with Pam. Laying on the top bunk, listening to "Judy Judy Judy, do you love me"? By Bobbie Sherman over and over, playing blind mans bluff, dancing and movies. She knew how to have fun! I had fun with her!!

I am so very sad to hear of Pam's passing away. I'm thinking of the family as they grieve. Pam was a few years older than I but we both attended Putnam Elementary. I knew Pam in the Plains. She was a stable presence in the library there and a good friend to my kids as they were growing up. We will miss her.

I read of Pam's passing, and the years past brought back lovely memories of a beautiful person. We caught the bus together for many years, always greeting you with a smile with much joy in her heart. What a wonderful light she brought to this community. I thank God for her life here with us, and look forward to meeting her again someday. A classmate of 1975. Georgia Sayre Jewell

I was pleased to be an Emmaus sister with Pam. I loved her since of humor and the fact she was always upbeat. She set a wonderful example for those being treated for cancer. I will miss her smile.
